Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wallace Fields kicked off to start the match. 8 minutes into the match, Hillsborough's goal looked a bit too open when Wallace Fields came free, but Donald Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Pennington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Bryan Bloom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hillsborough's Donald Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wallace Fields in the 11th minute of play. Donald Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Woody Finney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sells FC's Woody Finney in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hillsborough's goalie prevented a goal. Ed Bradshaw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donald Kennedy having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Jack Costello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hillsborough's supporters rose to their feet, but Jack Costello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bryan Bloom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rdth minute of the game Sebastian Pennington who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sells FC's Bryan Bloom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Ed Bradshaw cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Donald Kennedy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bryan Bloom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Pennington's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute Wallace Fields shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donald Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Hillsborough's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ed Bradshaw fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 37 minutes, Sebastian Pennington mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hillsborough and the Sells FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sells FC booed when Hillsborough was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Pennington didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donald Kennedy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Domenic Edmondson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 44 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Pennington was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Sells FC's goalkeeper Bryan Bloom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Costello. After a defensive mix-up in Sells FC's zone, Jack Costello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryan Bloom came out of the goal and Jack Costello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack Costello got free with Bryan Bloom in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bryan Bloom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jack Costello went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Terrence Walters during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Hillsborough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terrence Walters to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ed Bradshaw in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donald Kennedy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Donald Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wallace Fields, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Wallace Fields's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donald Kennedy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Bryan Bloom made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Jack Costello sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Sells FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Walton Bustamante hit a great ball. Hillsborough's Jack Costello got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th match minute, Hillsborough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lloyd Arredondo to maneuver through the defense. Hillsborough's Terrence Walters got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Terrence Walters off the ground. In the 97th minute, Ed Bradshaw ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donald Kennedy was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sells FC had won after a very even match.
