Arcola Youth Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wallace Fields was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 7 played minutes, Sells FC's Vincent Rich shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodrigo Magee came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sells FC reached it. When Sells FC's Wallace Fields in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Woody Finney kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Sean Lamb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Bryan Bloom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Ed Bradshaw cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rodrigo Magee was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wallace Fields in the 21st minute of play forced Arcola Youth Academy's goalkeeper Rodrigo Magee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domenic Edmondson's late challenge caught a Arcola Youth Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domenic Edmondson helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Sells FC got a freekick which was hit by Domenic Edmondson. Rodrigo Magee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wallace Fields in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ed Bradshaw in the 38th minute of play forced Arcola Youth Academy's goalkeeper Rodrigo Magee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Magee stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wallace Fields's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Rodrigo Magee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ed Bradshaw in the 41st minute of the match. After the first half Sells FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Sean Lamb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bryan Bloom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ross Lott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domenic Edmondson kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Sean Lamb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Bryan Bloom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arcola Youth Academy. After having played for 83 minutes, Wallace Fields managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sells FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wallace Fields was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute, Woody Finney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wallace Fields fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Magee having to interfere. When Wallace Fields came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Sells FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wallace Fields couldn't finish the play. After 89 minutes, Wallace Fields mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sells FC and the Arcola Youth Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Arcola Youth Academy booed when Sells FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wallace Fields didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ross Lott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Bloom having to interfere. 100 minutes into the game, Arcola Youth Academy's Sean Lamb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bryan Bloom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Sells FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
