Harker Heights FC's Wilfredo Dutton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Costello in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Sebastian Pennington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Dutton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jack Costello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Wilfredo Dutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Dutton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Costello in the 23rd minute of play. Wilfredo Dutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Costello in the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Hillsborough booed when Harker Heights FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bennett Storey didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Hillsborough getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jack Cabourne hit a great ball. Wilfredo Dutton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Pennington, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Yong Grady made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hillsborough's Garret Hanson. Wilfredo Dutton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Pennington's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Kerry Davila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harker Heights FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hillsborough the free kick. After a rather tough play, Harker Heights FC's Kerry Davila got a free kick in the 45th minute. Wilfredo Dutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Pennington in the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Pennington to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Sebastian Pennington took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Wilfredo Dutton to make any attempt to save it. With an all-out effort, Hillsborough's Wilfredo Dutton threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Pennington, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Hillsborough's Sebastian Pennington slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilfredo Dutton. That made the score 0-4 after 59 minutes of play. Lanny Griffith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Harker Heights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Pennington came free, but Wilfredo Dutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Dutton was a little too slow when Sebastian Pennington got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-5. Wilfredo Dutton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Pennington, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harker Heights FC's Kerry Davila got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Kerry Davila off the ground. In the 83rd match minute, Harker Heights FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kerry Davila to maneuver through the defense. In the 86thth minute of the game Sebastian Pennington who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Harker Heights FC's Wilfredo Dutton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jack Costello struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Wilfredo Dutton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hillsborough. When the match was over Hillsborough could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Harker Heights FC throughout the match.
