Curt McLain scored 4-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robin Henley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Pingyu FC's Robin Henley got control of the ball when Oren Walsh tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oren Walsh who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Robin Henley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 42nd minute, Roscoe Hargrove reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robin Henley. The goal made the score 5-1. Robin Henley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Curt McLain in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elijah Spivey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Rusty Walton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Henley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darnell Bowling in the 75th minute of play forced Accokeek AFC's goalkeeper Sherwood Walsh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Accokeek AFC fully deserved thier win.
