Archers of Kalimdor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joshua Woodard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Archers of Kalimdor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Mason Brandon scored to the left of an out of position Nicholas Dozier, making the score, 1-0. Wilford Mott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shawn Greer in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind shenhua's goalkeeper Wilford Mott, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joshua Woodard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rashad Starks to make the kick off. If Joshua Woodard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shawn Greer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joshua Woodard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to shenhua getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Merrill Washington hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, shenhua's goalkeeper Wilford Mott had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joshua Woodard. After a defensive mix-up in shenhua's zone, Joshua Woodard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilford Mott came out of the goal and Joshua Woodard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joshua Woodard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Wilford Mott when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
