Spectators: 7992 (Terracing: 5995, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christian Marcones started the match with the kick off. Germantown's Jason Kauffman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Landreth in the 5th minute of play. Nelson Ackerman was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 6 minutes into the match. Virgil Holt hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Geraldo Sampson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freer AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geraldo Sampson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shane Bagley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Kauffman having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Christian Marcones reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jason Kauffman. The goal made the score 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Marcones in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jason Kauffman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Freer AFC's Christian Marcones in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 26th minute Christian Marcones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jason Kauffman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Freer AFC's Christian Marcones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jason Kauffman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jason Kauffman made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Christian Marcones sent off a good shot on target. Germantown's Jason Kauffman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Germantown from getting a goal against them. Mervin Shipley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Germantown booed when Freer AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duke Cardwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Jacinto Quintal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Marcones who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Jason Kauffman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mervin Shipley to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Germantown booed when Freer AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Marcones in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The audience was convinced that Christian Marcones's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jason Kauffman was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 58th minute Nathanial Ervin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jason Kauffman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Freer AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Landreth to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Freer AFC's Cason Frazier got a free kick in the 61st minute. Freer AFC's Santo Fitzpatrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Holt in the 62nd minute of play. Mervin Shipley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Santo Fitzpatrick made a huge save. Landon Nugent scored 2-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santo Fitzpatrick, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, Christian Marcones ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jason Kauffman was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Jason Kauffman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathanial Ervin in the 77th minute of play. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Christian Marcones sped through Germantown's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jason Kauffman. The audience was convinced that Christian Marcones's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jason Kauffman was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, Freer AFC's Christian Marcones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jason Kauffman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mervin Shipley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Santo Fitzpatrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jason Kauffman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Marcones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
