Spectators: 7980 (Terracing: 5986, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Young Hampton made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the game, Gustavo Blair cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Calvin Parham was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute Gustavo Blair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calvin Parham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Phoenix Suns Atletic booed when Paddock Lake FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rick Bouchard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calvin Parham came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Suns Atletic's Silas Kent. But to his dismay, Silas Kent quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Gustavo Blair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calvin Parham having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Paddock Lake FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Blair came free, but Calvin Parham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phoenix Suns Atletic's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Young Hampton in the 21st minute. The corner led Phoenix Suns Atletic's Young Hampton to fire away a dangerous shot which Calvin Parham despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Calvin Parham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Young Hampton, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Calvin Parham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Blair in the 30th minute of play. Young Hampton took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Calvin Parham. Calvin Parham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 34th minute, Gustavo Blair left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Phoenix Suns Atletic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 37th minute, Gustavo Blair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calvin Parham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Blair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Paddock Lake FC defense, Young Hampton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Calvin Parham. The Paddock Lake FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Calvin Parham should have stopped the shot. After the first half Phoenix Suns Atletic were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andre Madison to strike the kick off in the second half. Phoenix Suns Atletic's Bill Burger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel Calvert in the 51st minute of play. In the 57th minute Lionel Calvert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Burger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Paddock Lake FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darius Cruz to maneuver through the defense. After 61 minutes, Young Hampton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Phoenix Suns Atletic and the Paddock Lake FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 63 minutes into the match, Young Hampton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calvin Parham. Paddock Lake FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Young Hampton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. 0-8 became the score in the 68th minute when Gustavo Blair elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Silas Kent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Calvin Parham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Paddock Lake FC booed when Phoenix Suns Atletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Blair didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Jerrod Burroughs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Bouchard in the 79th minute of play forced Phoenix Suns Atletic's goalkeeper Bill Burger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Nabar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Gustavo Blair cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Calvin Parham was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andre Madison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Burger having to interfere.
