Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Christian Marcones made the kick off and thus started the match. Nathanial Ervin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randell Boyce having to interfere. After 5th play minutes Christian Marcones shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Randell Boyce and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 8th minute Christian Marcones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Randell Boyce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, Stow's Guillermo Davidson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Fitzpatrick was left in no man's land by his defense there! Brady Calhoun's late challenge caught a Freer AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brady Calhoun helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Stow's Brady Calhoun got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Christian Marcones's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Randell Boyce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Brady Calhoun kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Tony Robison came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Stow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Robison couldn't finish the play. If Christian Marcones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Brady Calhoun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute, Guillermo Davidson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stow fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. When Freer AFC's Christian Marcones in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stow's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tony Robison to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Guillermo Davidson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Fitzpatrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Freer AFC's zone, Daniel Uster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Fitzpatrick came out of the goal and Daniel Uster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Tony Robison notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Freer AFC's Santo Fitzpatrick. Santo Fitzpatrick was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the match, Guillermo Davidson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santo Fitzpatrick. Freer AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guillermo Davidson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Randell Boyce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Marcones's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Tony Robison charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Robison the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Stow got a freekick which was hit by Tony Robison. If Christian Marcones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Fitzpatrick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillermo Davidson went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute, Brady Calhoun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Christian Marcones's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Randell Boyce was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. If Tony Robison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Freer AFC booed when Stow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desmond Stanley didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nathanial Ervin came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Freer AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nathanial Ervin couldn't finish the play. Randell Boyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Marcones in the 87th minute of play. The Stow players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
