When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Bermudez made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Gerry Juarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Nacional's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerry Juarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute Ernesto Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calvin Parham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Titus Pickens managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Paddock Lake FC's Andre Madison fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andre Madison got free with Titus Pickens in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rick Bouchard might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Titus Pickens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rick Bouchard ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th minute, Andre Madison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 99th minute, Paddock Lake FC's Lionel Calvert ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Titus Pickens. Titus Pickens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-4. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
