Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Deshawn Rojas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 10 minutes into the match, The Vasquitos's goal looked a bit too open when Terry Bowman came free, but Byron Messer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Whitney Hansen in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trinidad Phillips prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tequesta FC's Trinidad Phillips played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neal Ladner in the 16th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Whitney Hansen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trinidad Phillips saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Deshawn Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tequesta FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Terry Bowman in the 28th minute. With a little luck, The Vasquitos's Byron Messer got control of the ball when Deshawn Rojas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Berry Aviles to strike the kick off in the second half. Trinidad Phillips made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berry Aviles in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Tequesta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Darrel Milton came free, but Trinidad Phillips reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tequesta FC's Deshawn Rojas got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Neal Ladner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Terry Bowman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and The Vasquitos's Byron Messer didn't even have to move. Berry Aviles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Byron Messer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Pruitt in the 74th minute of play. Deshawn Rojas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Will Pruitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tequesta FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Whitney Hansen scored to the left of an out of position Trinidad Phillips, making the score, 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Vasquitos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
