Arrigo Cericola came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by San Diego Lightning's Brad Aldridge. But to his dismay, Brad Aldridge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. BARCO CITY's Arrigo Cericola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brad Aldridge in the 27th minute of play. Lloyd Irvin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Warner Dodd's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Sherwood McClain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Arrigo Cericola made a huge save. Sherwood McClain struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Arrigo Cericola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Diego Lightning. Warner Dodd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arrigo Cericola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sherwood McClain in the 77th minute of play. BARCO CITY were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
