Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brad Aldridge kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Merle Wilhelm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lloyd Irvin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 12th play minutes Heriberto Fay shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Lloyd Irvin and just under the crossbar into goal. Heriberto Fay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lloyd Irvin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, San Diego Lightning's goal looked a bit too open when Heriberto Fay came free, but Lloyd Irvin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Heriberto Fay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heriberto Fay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lloyd Irvin having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Culver was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Diego Lightning's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Figari the free kick. Wilfredo Culver kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Lloyd Irvin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heriberto Fay in the 36th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Alejandro Toney recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lloyd Irvin. Alejandro Toney showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Heriberto Fay was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heriberto Fay in the 66th minute of play forced San Diego Lightning's goalkeeper Lloyd Irvin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Titus kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Ross Herman, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Lloyd Irvin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Merle Wilhelm's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Lloyd Irvin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heriberto Fay, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Merle Wilhelm struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Lloyd Irvin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Figari. Lloyd Irvin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heriberto Fay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sherwood McClain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donovan Overton having to interfere. FC Figari's Merle Wilhelm got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeff Ott hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. San Diego Lightning's Lloyd Irvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heriberto Fay in the 87th minute of play. Merle Wilhelm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lloyd Irvin having to interfere.
