The supporters of BARCO CITY booed when Tequesta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chase Stokes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rick Askew's late challenge caught a BARCO CITY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tequesta FC's Deshawn Rojas got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Terry Bowman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tequesta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BARCO CITY the free kick. When Warner Dodd came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the BARCO CITY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Warner Dodd couldn't finish the play. Tequesta FC's Deshawn Rojas got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Deshawn Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Will Pruitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deshawn Rojas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Tequesta FC booed when BARCO CITY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Telmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. BARCO CITY's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Jacques Carpenter scored to the left of an out of position Arrigo Cericola, making the score, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Deshawn Rojas was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Warner Dodd reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Trinidad Phillips. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 56th minute, Deshawn Rojas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arrigo Cericola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Pruitt in the 57th minute of play. Tequesta FC's Jacques Carpenter got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in BARCO CITY's zone, Deshawn Rojas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arrigo Cericola came out of the goal and Deshawn Rojas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63 played minutes BARCO CITY got a freekick which was hit by Wilbur Richardson. Tequesta FC's Trinidad Phillips proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Tequesta FC from getting a goal against them. If Warner Dodd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arrigo Cericola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terry Bowman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes Warner Dodd rounded Tequesta FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Warner Dodd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trinidad Phillips having to interfere. After 96 played minutes Tequesta FC got a freekick which was hit by Deshawn Rojas. The BARCO CITY supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BARCO CITY would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
