Spectators: 7834 (Terracing: 5988, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 10) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brad Aldridge took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jaime Lockwood's late challenge caught a Childersburg FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Lockwood helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes, Childersburg FC's Kraig Hufnagel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lloyd Irvin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Childersburg FC reached it. Tyler Randolph was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Lloyd Irvin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Eddy in the 21st minute of play. If Brad Aldridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Robert Eddy made a precise shot to the right of Lloyd Irvin. San Diego Lightning's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sherwood McClain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Donald Brandt made a huge save. San Diego Lightning's Lloyd Irvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascal Alston in the 35th minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, Childersburg FC's Billy Jenkins made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lloyd Irvin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Donald Brandt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brad Aldridge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Childersburg FC's Pascal Alston got a free kick in the 44th minute. Billy Jenkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Lloyd Irvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Childersburg FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Billy Jenkins to make the kick off. Cristobal Titus tried in the game's 53rd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Lloyd Irvin. An annoying self made goal, 0-3. In the 56th match minute, Childersburg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milton Saldana to maneuver through the defense. San Diego Lightning's Lloyd Irvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Jenkins in the 58th minute of play. Childersburg FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kraig Hufnagel in the 61st minute. Lloyd Irvin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ronald Connolly. In the 64th minute, San Diego Lightning's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Billy Jenkins fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, San Diego Lightning's Jaime Lockwood got a free kick in the 67th minute. Lloyd Irvin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Eddy in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, San Diego Lightning's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Jenkins came free, but Lloyd Irvin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Billy Jenkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Childersburg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Billy Jenkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lloyd Irvin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute Billy Jenkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lloyd Irvin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lloyd Irvin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Jenkins in the 91st minute of play. Donald Brandt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sherwood McClain, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Edgardo Case charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgardo Case the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to San Diego Lightning getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Edgardo Case hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Childersburg FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than San Diego Lightning.
