Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Oren Gorman made the kick off which started today's match. Glen Sadler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merle Wilhelm in the 3rd minute of play. Glen Sadler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heriberto Fay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Merle Wilhelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Glen Sadler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merle Wilhelm in the 15th minute of the match. Glen Sadler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heriberto Fay's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Glen Sadler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merle Wilhelm, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Merle Wilhelm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glen Sadler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glen Sadler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heriberto Fay in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thaddeus Kessler during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kenner's Thaddeus Kessler got a free kick in the 21st minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Heriberto Fay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Figari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heriberto Fay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, Merle Wilhelm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Glen Sadler was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 30th match minute, FC Figari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merle Wilhelm to maneuver through the defense. Merle Wilhelm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glen Sadler having to interfere. Glen Sadler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heriberto Fay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Merle Wilhelm might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Glen Sadler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Merle Wilhelm ran back to his position shaking his head. Heriberto Fay took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glen Sadler. Glen Sadler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Glen Sadler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merle Wilhelm, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Merle Wilhelm charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Merle Wilhelm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, FC Figari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merle Wilhelm to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Merle Wilhelm made a precise shot to the right of Glen Sadler. Kenner's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Kenner's goal looked a bit too open when Heriberto Fay came free, but Glen Sadler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glen Sadler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Merle Wilhelm in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Merle Wilhelm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Glen Sadler was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Merle Wilhelm who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Glen Sadler when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Glen Sadler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heriberto Fay's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Merle Wilhelm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Glen Sadler made a huge save. After some careless play in the Kenner defense, Merle Wilhelm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Glen Sadler. The Kenner fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Glen Sadler should have stopped the shot. Cristobal Root fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donovan Overton having to interfere. Glen Sadler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Merle Wilhelm in the 78th minute. If Heriberto Fay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Glen Sadler managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when FC Figari's Merle Wilhelm fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. During the 82nd minute of the match Thaddeus Kessler completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Thaddeus Kessler a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of FC Figari booed when Kenner was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thaddeus Kessler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Merle Wilhelm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Heriberto Fay fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Merle Wilhelm kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. Cristobal Root's late challenge caught a FC Figari's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristobal Root helped the player get up and apologised. In the 100th minute, Cristobal Root hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
