An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Kellbom in the 5th minute of play forced Los Angeles Rams's goalkeeper Geoff Donnelly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC West Palm Beach's Ronny Ervin got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pablo Mooney hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustacio Fresco in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geoff Donnelly prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Los Angeles Rams's Geoff Donnelly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Kellbom in the 16th minute of play. Ronny Ervin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geoff Donnelly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Kellbom in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Foster Hickey in the 23rd minute of play forced FC West Palm Beach's goalkeeper Claudinho Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Los Angeles Rams's Celedonio Artaldo in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC West Palm Beach's goalie prevented a goal. 26 minutes into the game, Jordan Walter threw the ball into play from the sideline. Geoff Donnelly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Ervin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Kellbom in the 38th minute of play forced Los Angeles Rams's goalkeeper Geoff Donnelly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Jonatan Kellbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geoff Donnelly didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonatan Kellbom went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Jonatan Kellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Fresco struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Geoff Donnelly didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC West Palm Beach. 69 minutes into the match, FC West Palm Beach's Jonatan Kellbom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geoff Donnelly narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Geoff Donnelly was a little too slow when Jonatan Kellbom got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-5. Eustacio Fresco struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Geoff Donnelly didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC West Palm Beach. Jonatan Kellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geoff Donnelly having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Kellbom in the 85th minute of play forced Los Angeles Rams's goalkeeper Geoff Donnelly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Celedonio Artaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinho Taffarel was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC West Palm Beach's goalie and right to A.J. McCollum. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal.
