Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Kirk Vela started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Barros lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Abraham Gann. Glouster's Abraham Gann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitchell Hopson in the 17th minute of play. Brede Røv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kirk Vela in the 18th minute of play. Kirk Vela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Van Stephens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Brede Røv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, MONTERREY's Ignacy Kornecki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abraham Gann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kirk Vela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Brede Røv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luther Fairchild hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Abraham Gann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eleuterio Barros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. Eleuterio Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Ignacy Kornecki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MONTERREY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glouster the free kick. After 43 played minutes MONTERREY got a freekick which was hit by Ignacy Kornecki. In the 45th minute Köksal Erek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abraham Gann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Glouster's goalkeeper Abraham Gann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Köksal Erek to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, MONTERREY's goalkeeper Brede Røv had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Van Stephens. After some careless play in the Glouster defense, Köksal Erek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abraham Gann. The Glouster fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abraham Gann should have stopped the shot. Abraham Gann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Köksal Erek in the 60th minute of the match. Abraham Gann came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by MONTERREY's Köksal Erek. But to his dismay, Köksal Erek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 68 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Abraham Gann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th minute Mitchell Hopson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abraham Gann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to MONTERREY getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Fabian Montoya hit a great ball. MONTERREY's Brede Røv proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save MONTERREY from getting a goal against them. MONTERREY's Mitchell Hopson suffered a sore thigh after 82 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Steve Youngblood during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. MONTERREY made a substitution. Trevor Lacy replaced Mitchell Hopson. After a rather tough play, Glouster's Steve Youngblood got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 88th minute, Trevor Lacy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MONTERREY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Abraham Gann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trevor Lacy in the 94th minute of play. Brede Røv made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kirk Vela in the 96th minute. MONTERREY's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
