Spectators: 7017 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 10) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Seth Bassett took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mickey Pham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seth Bassett, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Parker Armstrong hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Lane Womack ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lance Pollock was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Lane Womack charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lane Womack the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mickey Pham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Archie Ryan in the 16th minute of play. Rob Spence kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Lance Pollock acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Miles Ragsdale. 22 minutes into the match, Roanoke FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jamar Shaw came free, but Mickey Pham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphael Dudley couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Roanoke FC's Raphael Dudley dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Seth Bassett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmed Zimmerman during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Farmington Hills reached it. In the 62nd minute, Roanoke FC's Josef Holden seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Josef Holden the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Roanoke FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Josef Holden had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Mickey Pham went to the wrong direction when Seth Bassett was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 65th minute, Archie Ryan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mickey Pham was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Archie Ryan in the 69th minute of play forced Roanoke FC's goalkeeper Mickey Pham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jamar Shaw got free with Mickey Pham in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lance Pollock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Woody Woodall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Woody Woodall suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 80 minutes of play Farmington Hills's Rob Spence was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Rob Spence kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Roanoke FC's zone, Archie Ryan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mickey Pham came out of the goal and Archie Ryan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mickey Pham made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Jamar Shaw sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Roanoke FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Parker Armstrong hit a great ball. Jamar Shaw who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 98thth minute tested the skills of Mickey Pham when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Despite being the better team, Farmington Hills failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
