Colby Hemphill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Gilliam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilbert Patten during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kenai booed when Angola AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Patten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colby Hemphill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duane Drake, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The tension between the Kenai and the Angola AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ron Huber kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Ricardo Gilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
