In the 8th minute, Pascal Porter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Perry Luna put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Savaş Tüzel. When Leroy Hare came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Port Washington North AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leroy Hare couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rhett Gibson during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rhett Gibson kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Göksun Civanmert during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Robinson FC a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Perry Luna, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Port Washington North AFC's Savaş Tüzel. 0-3. Robinson FC's Emerson Drummond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascal Porter in the 28th minute of play. Robinson FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pascal Porter 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Perry Luna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Savaş Tüzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Savaş Tüzel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leif Acevedo went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 41st minute, Şener Refet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Terrence Key recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Robinson FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Şener Refet to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Robinson FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pascal Porter came free, but Emerson Drummond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Leif Acevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Robinson FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Acevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leif Acevedo struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Savaş Tüzel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Robinson FC. When Robinson FC's Perry Luna in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Port Washington North AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Terrence Key charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Terrence Key the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Robinson FC's Lane Abel got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Şener Refet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th match minute, Robinson FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliott Cormier to maneuver through the defense. Lenny Ruffin, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Terrence Key hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Port Washington North AFC's Pascal Porter got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emerson Drummond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leroy Hare, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Chants of Robinson FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Port Washington North AFC had held the ball for most of the match.
