Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when A.J. Hoover took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kenai's Tyrell Lugo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by A.J. Hoover in the 4th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Wayne Hickey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flat Rock and the Kenai players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wayne Hickey hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Flat Rock's Mohammed Adams got control of the ball when Reuben McCollum tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Gilliam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reuben McCollum in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mohammed Adams, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mohammed Adams made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reuben McCollum in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes of play, Kenai's Reuben McCollum made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mohammed Adams was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd match minute, Flat Rock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by A.J. Hoover to maneuver through the defense. Mohammed Adams made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duane Drake in the 35th minute of play. Tyrell Lugo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wayne Hickey in the 39th minute of play. Reuben McCollum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mohammed Adams tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reuben McCollum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reuben McCollum stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Gilliam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Mohammed Adams tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Gilliam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Kenai booed when Flat Rock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Bridges didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th match minute, Kenai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grady Ritter to maneuver through the defense. Tyrell Lugo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 66th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jarrett Whittaker. Reuben McCollum blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mohammed Adams having to make a save. The long shot by Jarrett Whittaker in the 75th minute really tested Tyrell Lugo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Kenai's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when A.J. Hoover scored to the left of an out of position Tyrell Lugo, making the score, 2-1. A.J. Hoover sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flat Rock's Mason Messer managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Noah Acevedo in the 83 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reuben McCollum in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mohammed Adams saved Flat Rock from getting behind. Ricardo Gilliam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grady Ritter got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Reuben McCollum. After a defensive mix-up in Flat Rock's zone, Reuben McCollum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohammed Adams came out of the goal and Reuben McCollum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kenai walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
