After a rather tough play, New York Black Eagles FC's Cory Henry got a free kick in the 13th minute. New York Black Eagles FC's Sal Carbajal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devin Anderson in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, New York Black Eagles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Devin Anderson came free, but Sal Carbajal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sal Carbajal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lazaro Ruth in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devin Anderson in the 33rd minute of play forced New York Black Eagles FC's goalkeeper Sal Carbajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sal Carbajal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lazaro Ruth in the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Wendell Whitfield left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bartonville fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The New York Black Eagles FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bartonville were winning 0-2.
