Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lazaro Ruth started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Daren Cavazos made in the 5th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Devin Anderson however managed to control. Devin Anderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Fred Reagan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Logan Newsome's late challenge caught a Bartonville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Logan Newsome helped the player get up and apologised. Logan Newsome kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Fred Reagan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devin Anderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darrell Curran came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Excelsior's Zachary Herndon. But to his dismay, Zachary Herndon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fred Reagan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lazaro Ruth in the 18th minute of the match. Logan Newsome took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Darrell Curran. Bartonville's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Wendell Whitfield came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Bartonville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wendell Whitfield couldn't finish the play. Devin Anderson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Fred Reagan made a huge save. In the 31st minute, Stanton Sellers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Excelsior defense, Devin Anderson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fred Reagan. The Excelsior fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fred Reagan should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Mike Casey made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Lazaro Ruth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Fred Reagan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56thth minute of the game Wendell Whitfield who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Excelsior's Fred Reagan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fred Reagan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lazaro Ruth, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wendell Whitfield in the 62nd minute of play forced Excelsior's goalkeeper Fred Reagan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Zachary Herndon notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Bartonville's Darrell Curran. Darrell Curran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lazaro Ruth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Bartonville's Randy Bynum got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Mike Casey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Excelsior booed when Bartonville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Devin Anderson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darrell Curran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casper Jacobsen in the 78th minute of the match. Fred Reagan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Devin Anderson in the 80th minute of the match. When Dallas Kearns fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bartonville's protests and gave Dallas Kearns a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Excelsior's Zachary Herndon got a free kick in the 86th minute. With a little luck, Bartonville's Darrell Curran got control of the ball when Kirby Vance tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Excelsior's goal looked a bit too open when Lazaro Ruth came free, but Fred Reagan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emmanuel Rowe kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
