Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Elijah McCall made the kick off which started today's match. Jimmy Parra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Quentin Spivey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Rusty Reeves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but D.J. Hargrove saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes Strathmore got a freekick which was hit by Wilfred Pruitt. After 18 played minutes, Strathmore's Zack Kline shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Quentin Spivey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Strathmore reached it. After some careless play in the Strathmore defense, Rusty Reeves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of D.J. Hargrove. The Strathmore fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that D.J. Hargrove should have stopped the shot. D.J. Hargrove came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Woodstown AFC's Rusty Reeves. But to his dismay, Rusty Reeves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 40th minute, Preston Horner reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Quentin Spivey. The goal made the score 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Preston Horner to make the kick off. Wilfred Pruitt took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quentin Spivey. Quentin Spivey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 55th minute Danial Sumner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin Spivey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Woodstown AFC's Quentin Spivey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Preston Horner in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of Strathmore booed when Woodstown AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Gale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rusty Reeves's late challenge caught a Strathmore's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rusty Reeves helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Strathmore booed when Woodstown AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a rather tough play, Strathmore's Preston Horner got a free kick in the 71st minute. A hard shot by Wilfred Cook from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got D.J. Hargrove's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jimmy Parra hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Elijah McCall could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which D.J. Hargrove however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Strathmore getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Wilfred Pruitt hit a great ball. A collision led to Woodstown AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jonah Simons hit a great ball. Quentin Spivey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Parra, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Woodstown AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Strathmore.
