Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Claude Ziegler made the kick off which started today's match. Mervin Ellison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Bush having to interfere. Douglass Cowan hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavin Joyce in the 10th minute of play forced Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Harvey Bush to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Terrell Roark kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Gavin Joyce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harvey Bush read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Gavin Joyce took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Harvey Bush to make any attempt to save it. 29 minutes into the match, Derek Summers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tad Duff. Elkhorn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Derek Summers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gavin Joyce to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Scott Mayberry kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tad Duff. That made the score 1-2 in the 55 minute of play. Tad Duff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claude Ziegler in the 61st minute of the match. With 67 minutes on the clock, Johnnie Crowell commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 67 minutes into the game, one of Elkhorn:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tad Duff went to the wrong direction when Claude Ziegler was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Inter Miami CF's Douglass Cowan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mervin Ellison in the 75 minute of the game. Dan Ochoa hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Casey Pierre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Tad Duff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claude Ziegler struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Tad Duff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Miami CF. 88 minutes into the match, Elkhorn's goalkeeper Tad Duff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casey Pierre. Mervin Ellison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Bush having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Mervin Ellison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elkhorn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mervin Ellison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Inter Miami CF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Elkhorn.
