After 35 minutes, Nigel Whalen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Novatoo and the L.A. Wolves F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Devin Oliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. L.A. Wolves F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
