After a defensive mix-up in Inter Miami CF's zone, Derek Grant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harvey Bush came out of the goal and Derek Grant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rocco Glover in the 14th minute of play forced Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Harvey Bush to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harvey Bush showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocco Glover in the 15th minute of the match. Claude Ziegler who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Felipe Plummer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Harvey Bush stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Derek Grant's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Felipe Plummer stood somewhat misplaced when Claude Ziegler came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 26 minute. Derek Grant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casey Pierre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, one of Inter Miami CF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Inter Miami CF. In the 43rd minute Derek Grant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Bush saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute Rocco Glover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Bush saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claude Ziegler to strike the kick off in the second half. Rocco Glover fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Bush having to interfere. After 65 played minutes TIKI TAKA FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Sullivan. When Claude Ziegler came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Inter Miami CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claude Ziegler couldn't finish the play. Rocco Glover kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Harvey Bush was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Derek Grant showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 70 minute of play. Harvey Bush made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derek Grant in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes in the game, Derek Grant fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Harvey Bush having to interfere. Rocco Glover in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Harvey Bush, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Derek Grant was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. TIKI TAKA FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rocco Glover ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Harvey Bush, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Harvey Bush made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Rocco Glover sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guy Farmer during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Guy Farmer kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th match minute, TIKI TAKA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Humphries to maneuver through the defense. Rocco Glover took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harvey Bush. Harvey Bush dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4.
