The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Harvey Bush showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Thomson in the 4th minute of the match. Steven Randle kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Harvey Bush took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuan LeBlanc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Claude Ziegler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elvis Seymour was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Derek Summers hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Casey Pierre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvis Seymour having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Inter Miami CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglass Cowan to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Virgil Thomson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dyer FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Harvey Bush made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Thomson in the 33rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Tuan LeBlanc put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Harvey Bush. If Claude Ziegler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claude Ziegler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Dyer FC's Kasey Bernier got a free kick in the 50th minute. Elvis Seymour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claude Ziegler, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Harvey Bush took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuan LeBlanc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harvey Bush made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuan LeBlanc in the 57th minute of play. Tuan LeBlanc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Harvey Bush tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inter Miami CF's Harvey Bush played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuan LeBlanc in the 60th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Tuan LeBlanc rounded Inter Miami CF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. 68 minutes into the game, Kasey Bernier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dyer FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter Miami CF the free kick. In the 68th match minute, Dyer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasey Bernier to maneuver through the defense. When Inter Miami CF's Casey Pierre in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Elvis Seymour made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Harvey Bush took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuan LeBlanc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tuan LeBlanc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harvey Bush came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dyer FC's Virgil Thomson. But to his dismay, Virgil Thomson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. When the final whistle went the supporters of Dyer FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Inter Miami CF side.
