It was Percy Woods who took care of the corner kick. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Rocco Glover took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tad Duff to make any attempt to save it. In the 12th match minute, Elkhorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnnie Crowell to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 15 minutes, Percy Woods managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TIKI TAKA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percy Woods was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rocco Glover got free with Tad Duff in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 24 in the game by Rocco Glover from a close distance when the talented Tad Duff managed to make a qualified save. Elkhorn's players were relieved. Tad Duff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitchell Bartley, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Rocco Glover struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Tad Duff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TIKI TAKA FC. Sherwood Alvaro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Tad Duff made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Rocco Glover sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sherwood Alvaro during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Elkhorn getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Sherwood Alvaro hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the game, Mitchell Bartley recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tad Duff. Mitchell Bartley showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gavin Joyce was the one to do the kick off. Rocco Glover fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tad Duff having to interfere. If Mervin Ellison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Derek Grant left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TIKI TAKA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Tad Duff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Derek Grant went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 71 minutes into the match, Elkhorn's goal looked a bit too open when Derek Grant came free, but Tad Duff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes Elkhorn got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Fairchild. Tad Duff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamel Camacho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tad Duff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derek Grant in the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Elkhorn getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Dan Ochoa hit a great ball. TIKI TAKA FC's Rocco Glover got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Derek Grant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tad Duff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rocco Glover, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute Rocco Glover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tad Duff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sherwood Alvaro hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, one of Elkhorn:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave TIKI TAKA FC a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Percy Woods, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Elkhorn's Tad Duff. 7-0. Percy Woods took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tad Duff. Elkhorn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 97 played minutes Elkhorn got a freekick which was hit by Gavin Joyce. After a defensive mix-up in Elkhorn's zone, Derek Grant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tad Duff came out of the goal and Derek Grant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TIKI TAKA FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
