Noel Grant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Blackburn in the 14th minute of the match. Ace Dougherty scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brant Palacios, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Melvin Benitez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noel Grant. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ace Dougherty stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Noel Grant managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when L.A. Wolves F.C's Melvin Benitez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Noel Grant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Blackburn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Blackburn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Noel Grant came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgardo Blackburn slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 55th minute. Noel Grant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Roberson in the 59th minute of the match. Ace Dougherty's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brant Palacios read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th minute Edgardo Blackburn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Grant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ace Dougherty charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ace Dougherty the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Irmo's Ace Dougherty got a free kick in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rich Lane in the 73rd minute of play forced L.A. Wolves F.C's goalkeeper Brant Palacios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Kincaid charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Kincaid the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Irmo booed when L.A. Wolves F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Kincaid didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leland Valle missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 78 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Brant Palacios right hand side. In the 81st minute, Leland Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rich Lane took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brant Palacios. Brant Palacios dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. In the 92nd minute, Ace Dougherty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, L.A. Wolves F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Rich Lane came free, but Brant Palacios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes L.A. Wolves F.C got a freekick which was hit by Willy Elkins. Brendan Payne kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. L.A. Wolves F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
