Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Guillermo Koenig kicked off to start the match. Guillermo Koenig kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Tuan Napier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillermo Koenig went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Frankie Alvarado fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Effingham's protests and gave Frankie Alvarado a yellow card for diving instead. Micah Erwin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 played minutes Savannah Striders got a freekick which was hit by Micah Erwin. In the 24th minute of the match, Dylan Lott tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Taci Yekta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as Effingham's Leo Huber slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Taci Yekta. That made the score 1-1 after 27 minutes of play. The supporters of Savannah Striders booed when Effingham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruce Burnham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taci Yekta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Huber's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Savannah Striders's Taci Yekta got control of the ball when Dylan Lott tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Effingham's Leo Huber dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After 47 minutes, Chad Hare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Effingham and the Savannah Striders players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leo Huber was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Effingham's Leo Huber got a free kick in the 51st minute. Guillermo Koenig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuan Napier having to interfere. The supporters of Savannah Striders booed when Effingham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Huber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Tormes kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Effingham's Leo Huber tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Savannah Striders's Tuan Napier threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guillermo Koenig, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 67th minute, Chad Hare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute Dylan Lott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taci Yekta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgil Christensen hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Dylan Lott kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 77 minutes, Guillermo Koenig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Savannah Striders and the Effingham players grew even worse after the yellow card.
