Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gavin Joyce kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes of play, Elkhorn's Sherwood Alvaro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noel Grant was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Dwight Dillard in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Elkhorn's Sherwood Alvaro. In the 12th minute, Elkhorn's Bryant Mobley ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Noel Grant. Noel Grant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 17 minutes into the game, Bryant Mobley recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Noel Grant. Bryant Mobley showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavin Joyce in the 23rd minute of play forced Irmo's goalkeeper Noel Grant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes Elkhorn got a freekick which was hit by Dan Ochoa. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rich Lane during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rich Lane kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Bryant Mobley reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Noel Grant. The goal made the score 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Irmo's zone, Gavin Joyce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Grant came out of the goal and Gavin Joyce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Elkhorn's Bryant Mobley got a free kick in the 39th minute. Noel Grant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavin Joyce, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ace Dougherty to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Elkhorn's Gavin Joyce nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noel Grant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After recieving a nice pass, Irmo's Ace Dougherty tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Irmo's Noel Grant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryant Mobley in the 59th minute of play. Rich Lane kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sherwood Alvaro in the 74th minute of play forced Irmo's goalkeeper Noel Grant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noel Grant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryant Mobley in the 85th minute of play. Noel Grant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sherwood Alvaro in the 87th minute of the match. Sherwood Alvaro scored 6-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Grant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elkhorn were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Irmo for a fine match.
