In the 4th minute, Dyer FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Melvin Benitez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Thomson in the 10th minute of play forced L.A. Wolves F.C's goalkeeper Brant Palacios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brant Palacios didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tuan LeBlanc went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Elvis Seymour successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 21st match minute, Dyer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Scottie Shearer to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Dyer FC's Elvis Seymour got control of the ball when Melvin Benitez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dyer FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tyrese Odell was slow to take the kick. During this time L.A. Wolves F.C's players had a chance to rest. L.A. Wolves F.C's Tyrese Odell was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elvis Seymour in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Virgil Thomson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brant Palacios read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Andy Roberson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. L.A. Wolves F.C's Brant Palacios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuan LeBlanc in the 37th minute of play. When Melvin Benitez came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the L.A. Wolves F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melvin Benitez couldn't finish the play. Brant Palacios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuan LeBlanc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. L.A. Wolves F.C's Brant Palacios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuan LeBlanc in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andy Roberson was the one to do the kick off. Tuan LeBlanc struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Brant Palacios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dyer FC. Brant Palacios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuan LeBlanc in the 57th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, L.A. Wolves F.C's Andy Roberson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elvis Seymour made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After having played for 65 minutes, Melvin Benitez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. L.A. Wolves F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melvin Benitez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brant Palacios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuan LeBlanc in the 69th minute of the match. When Virgil Thomson came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Dyer FC fans jumped to their feet. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tuan LeBlanc in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brant Palacios saved L.A. Wolves F.C from getting behind. Brant Palacios was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Tuan LeBlanc capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tuan LeBlanc really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After having played for 86 minutes, Andy Roberson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. L.A. Wolves F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andy Roberson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andy Roberson took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elvis Seymour. Elvis Seymour dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 90 minutes into the game, Tyrese Odell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. L.A. Wolves F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dyer FC the free kick. A collision led to L.A. Wolves F.C getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Tyrese Odell hit a great ball. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dyer FC's goalkeeper Elvis Seymour, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
