After a rather tough play, Savannah Striders's Henry Tormes got a free kick in the 5th minute. The supporters of Savannah Striders booed when TIKI TAKA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitchell Bartley didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Henry Tormes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Savannah Striders's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Tormes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Plummer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Maxwell Locke put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in TIKI TAKA FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 12 minutes, Savannah Striders's Daron Strong got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Felipe Plummer. The supporters of TIKI TAKA FC booed when Savannah Striders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Tormes didn't get a good kick on the ball. TIKI TAKA FC's Felipe Plummer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Tormes in the 19th minute of play. Felipe Plummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Peter in the 20th minute of the match. Henry Tormes scored 2-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felipe Plummer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Micah Erwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Taci Yekta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rocco Glover, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Guillermo Koenig in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Felipe Plummer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to TIKI TAKA FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Rocco Glover hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Savannah Striders's goal looked a bit too open when Rocco Glover came free, but Taci Yekta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Guillermo Koenig took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Felipe Plummer to make any attempt to save it. Savannah Striders's Taci Yekta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitchell Bartley in the 43rd minute of play. Taci Yekta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rocco Glover, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Songurbey Yalınalp's late challenge caught a TIKI TAKA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Songurbey Yalınalp helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Savannah Striders! In the 48th minute there was a penalty for TIKI TAKA FC. Percy Woods stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Taci Yekta. 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rocco Glover to make the kick off. Micah Erwin scored 6-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felipe Plummer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th match minute, TIKI TAKA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocco Glover to maneuver through the defense. When Micah Erwin came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Savannah Striders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Micah Erwin couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in TIKI TAKA FC's zone, Daron Strong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Plummer came out of the goal and Daron Strong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jamel Camacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Plummer came out of the goal and Guillermo Koenig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, TIKI TAKA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daron Strong came free, but Felipe Plummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rocco Glover could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Taci Yekta made a huge save. Jamel Camacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Savannah Striders's goal looked a bit too open when Jamel Camacho came free, but Taci Yekta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Savannah Striders's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
