Cornelis Van Baerlem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Lukas Oschlag left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nobody knows than me fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Effingham's Tuan Napier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Effingham from getting a goal against them. Tuan Napier was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Lukas Oschlag capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lukas Oschlag really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Tuan Napier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Oschlag in the 30th minute of the match. Effingham's Tuan Napier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Effingham from getting a goal against them. After 34 played minutes, Nobody knows than me's Giovanni Sams shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tuan Napier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nobody knows than me reached it. Theodore Huston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dylan Lott in the 36th minute of the match. Tuan Napier came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Nobody knows than me's Lukas Oschlag. But to his dismay, Lukas Oschlag quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A collision led to Nobody knows than me getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Jack McCrindle hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Cornelis Van Baerlem reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tuan Napier. The goal made the score 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leo Huber to strike the kick off in the second half. Theodore Huston was a little too slow when Leo Huber got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 4-1. The tension between the Effingham and the Nobody knows than me players grew even worse after the yellow card. Effingham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jack McCrindle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1.
