Harvey Bush showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joesph Browne, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Joesph Browne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Martínez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Antony Hinwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Inter Miami CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antony Hinwood was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Berwyn's Rene Ogden was substituted for Antony Hinwood. Harvey Bush made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Ogden in the 92nd minute. In the 94th play minute Rene Ogden came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Harvey Bush. 0-3. When the match was over Berwyn could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Inter Miami CF throughout the match.
