Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gavin Joyce took the kick off in the first half of the match. James Starnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Tad Duff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Elkhorn defense, Devin Oliver kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tad Duff. The Elkhorn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tad Duff should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute, one of Novatoo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Novatoo. If Bryant Mobley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 played minutes Elkhorn got a freekick which was hit by Terrell Roark. Randell Rivera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tad Duff having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Randell Rivera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Bryant Mobley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicholas Wolff was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Nicholas Wolff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavin Joyce in the 59th minute of the match. Randell Rivera struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Tad Duff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Novatoo. 64 minutes into the match, Novatoo's Randell Rivera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tad Duff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Novatoo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Randell Rivera in the 65th minute. Novatoo's Jose Bond was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tad Duff in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Johnnie Crowell charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johnnie Crowell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Novatoo booed when Elkhorn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnnie Crowell didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryant Mobley in the 75th minute of play forced Novatoo's goalkeeper Nicholas Wolff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Sutton charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Sutton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ross Burch during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Novatoo getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ross Burch hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Mervin Ellison made a precise shot to the right of Nicholas Wolff. Novatoo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. The Elkhorn support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
