Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Guillermo Koenig made the kick off and thus started the match. Taci Yekta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuan LeBlanc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgil Thomson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Taci Yekta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Henry Tormes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elvis Seymour. Dyer FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henry Tormes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 14 minutes of play, Savannah Striders's Henry Tormes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elvis Seymour was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Savannah Striders's Taci Yekta got control of the ball when Virgil Thomson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute Tuan LeBlanc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taci Yekta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daron Strong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Dyer FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Scottie Shearer hit a great ball. Elvis Seymour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Koenig, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Dyer FC's Scottie Shearer got his second yellow card of the match in the 43rd minute. The referee ordered Scottie Shearer off the ground. Micah Erwin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elvis Seymour. Dyer FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Virgil Thomson made the kick off in the second half. If Kasey Bernier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Dyer FC's zone, Daron Strong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvis Seymour came out of the goal and Daron Strong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Henry Tormes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Savannah Striders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Tormes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Daron Strong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guillermo Koenig scored 0-6 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elvis Seymour, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute, Guillermo Koenig reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elvis Seymour. The goal made the score 0-7. Micah Erwin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elvis Seymour read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Elvis Seymour was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guillermo Koenig showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 80 minute of play. Guillermo Koenig received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elvis Seymour came out and tried to block the shot, but Guillermo Koenig slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 83rd minute. Guillermo Koenig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Elvis Seymour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Savannah Striders's Guillermo Koenig dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. If Guillermo Koenig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes, Songurbey Yalınalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Savannah Striders and the Dyer FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Savannah Striders's Songurbey Yalınalp got a free kick in the 96th minute. Kasey Bernier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Savannah Striders could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dyer FC throughout the match.
