The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Karl-Johan Grubb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Grant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Karl-Johan Grubb left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TIKI TAKA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 14thth minute of the game Karl-Johan Grubb who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Irmo's Noel Grant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Karl-Johan Grubb put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Noel Grant. After a rather tough play, Irmo's Rich Lane got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Alekos Papadamopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alekos Papadamopoulos struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Noel Grant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TIKI TAKA FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Johan Grubb in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noel Grant saved Irmo from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Karl-Johan Grubb put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Noel Grant. Karl-Johan Grubb struck a weak shot in the 37th minute.
