Elkhorn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave L.A. Wolves F.C the free kick. After 6 played minutes, L.A. Wolves F.C's Tyrese Odell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tad Duff came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in L.A. Wolves F.C reached it. In the 13th minute, Bryant Mobley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgardo Blackburn kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tad Duff. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. A collision led to Elkhorn getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Mervin Ellison hit a great ball. Tad Duff made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Melvin Benitez sent off a good shot on target. Melvin Benitez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Blackburn in the 43rd minute of play forced Elkhorn's goalkeeper Tad Duff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Tad Duff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melvin Benitez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tad Duff came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by L.A. Wolves F.C's Andy Roberson. But to his dismay, Andy Roberson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Tad Duff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Blackburn, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Aldo Cox with Andy Roberson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 71st minute of the game Aldo Cox made a throw-in which Andy Roberson played forward. 79 minutes into the game, L.A. Wolves F.C's Edgardo Blackburn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tad Duff made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melvin Benitez in the 83rd minute of play forced Elkhorn's goalkeeper Tad Duff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7-0 became the score in the 86th minute when Andy Roberson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 91st minute of the game Aldo Cox made a throw-in which Andy Roberson played forward. Elkhorn's Eric Naylor got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. L.A. Wolves F.C had played much better football throughout.
