Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Novatoo's Randell Rivera started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicholas Wolff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casey Pierre in the 3rd minute of play. Rocky Law hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's goal looked a bit too open when Nigel Whalen came free, but Harvey Bush reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Scott Mayberry hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Claude Ziegler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Miami CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claude Ziegler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicholas Wolff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casey Pierre, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Claude Ziegler notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Novatoo's Nicholas Wolff. Nicholas Wolff was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Inter Miami CF's Harvey Bush played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devin Oliver in the 34th minute of play. Leonard Gann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Harvey Bush. Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Harvey Bush was a little too slow when Randell Rivera got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 1-1. Devin Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Harvey Bush tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. James Starnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claude Ziegler made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Leonard Gann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Claude Ziegler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute of the match Leonard Gann sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Harvey Bush skillfully saved the ball. In the 62nd minute, Thomas Solis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. James Starnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Harvey Bush tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Novatoo's Grant Sullivan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harvey Bush made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.
