Andy Roberson started the match with the kick off. When Derek Summers fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter Miami CF's protests and gave Derek Summers a yellow card for diving instead. Andy Roberson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Bush having to interfere. Harvey Bush made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Blackburn in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Edgardo Blackburn notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Inter Miami CF's Harvey Bush. Harvey Bush was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami CF's Derek Summers got a free kick in the 13th minute. Melvin Benitez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Bush having to interfere. Derek Summers kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Inter Miami CF booed when L.A. Wolves F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Roberson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes Inter Miami CF got a freekick which was hit by Casey Pierre. If Andy Roberson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgardo Blackburn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rocky Law hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Andy Roberson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Harvey Bush tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melvin Benitez in the 48th minute of play forced Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Harvey Bush to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claude Ziegler to make the kick off. The supporters of Inter Miami CF booed when L.A. Wolves F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Blackburn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgardo Blackburn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Harvey Bush made a huge save. After 64th play minutes Edgardo Blackburn shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Harvey Bush and just under the crossbar into goal. After 70 played minutes Edgardo Blackburn rounded Inter Miami CF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. After 73 played minutes L.A. Wolves F.C got a freekick which was hit by Willy Elkins. In the 74th minute, Claude Ziegler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to L.A. Wolves F.C getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Willy Elkins hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's Claude Ziegler broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. L.A. Wolves F.C's Brant Palacios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casey Pierre in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, L.A. Wolves F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Blackburn to maneuver through the defense. Brant Palacios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claude Ziegler in the 92nd minute of play. Brant Palacios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claude Ziegler, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. A collision led to Inter Miami CF getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Derek Summers hit a great ball.
