Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Guillermo Koenig started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Guillermo Koenig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tad Duff having to make a save. Dan Ochoa charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Ochoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Elkhorn getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Dan Ochoa hit a great ball. Elkhorn's Tad Duff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daron Strong in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Elkhorn's Aldo Sutton got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Elkhorn's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Koenig came free, but Tad Duff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henry Tormes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tad Duff having to interfere. Tad Duff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Koenig, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 34 minutes into the game, one of Savannah Striders:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 44 minutes into the match, Elkhorn's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Koenig came free, but Tad Duff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Savannah Striders's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Micah Erwin in the 45th minute. A nice corner shot did that Micah Erwin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tad Duff quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 48th minute, 孟勇威 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Gavin Joyce made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Elkhorn's Gavin Joyce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Taci Yekta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 56 minutes, Guillermo Koenig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Savannah Striders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Koenig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillermo Koenig in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tad Duff saved Elkhorn from getting behind. Elkhorn's Tad Duff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Elkhorn from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Elkhorn getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Tomas Fairchild hit a great ball. Gaston Beliran was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Savannah Striders fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Savannah Striders's Guillermo Koenig looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Micah Erwin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tad Duff read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Elkhorn's Tad Duff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Koenig in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, Savannah Striders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 孟勇威 to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Savannah Striders could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Elkhorn throughout the match.
