When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Edgardo Blackburn took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tuan Napier to make any attempt to save it. 16 minutes into the match, Effingham's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Roberson came free, but Tuan Napier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Effingham's Tuan Napier got control of the ball when Edgardo Blackburn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tuan Napier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Roberson, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Dylan Lott who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but L.A. Wolves F.C's Brant Palacios was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brant Palacios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Huber in the 32nd minute of the match. Leo Huber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Brant Palacios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tuan Napier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Blackburn in the 41st minute of the match. Leo Huber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brant Palacios read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play.

In the 57th match minute, L.A. Wolves F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melvin Benitez to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Melvin Benitez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tuan Napier was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Leo Huber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 minutes, Willy Elkins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the L.A. Wolves F.C and the Effingham players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in L.A. Wolves F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! 72 minutes into the match, L.A. Wolves F.C's goalkeeper Brant Palacios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chad Hare. 80 minutes into the match, Andy Roberson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tuan Napier. Effingham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andy Roberson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. In the 83rd minute Leo Huber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brant Palacios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dylan Lott struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Brant Palacios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Effingham. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melvin Benitez in the 86th minute of play forced Effingham's goalkeeper Tuan Napier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, L.A. Wolves F.C's Edgardo Blackburn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tuan Napier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Tuan Napier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Roberson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Huber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Brant Palacios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
