In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shippensburg's goalkeeper Dale Hollis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nathanial Sutherland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shippensburg's Dale Hollis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurtis Simons in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Shippensburg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nathanial Sutherland was slow to take the kick. During this time Fenerbahce SK's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Fenerbahce SK's Nathanial Sutherland to fire away a dangerous shot which Dale Hollis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cody Heller kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Romeo Howard struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Dale Hollis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenerbahce SK. Shippensburg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Nathanial Sutherland scored to the left of an out of position Dale Hollis, making the score, 1-0. Kurtis Simons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Dale Hollis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Nathanial Sutherland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbahce SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nathanial Sutherland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dale Hollis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romeo Howard scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dale Hollis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nathanial Sutherland made a kick off. Ted Colby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Claudio Avalos made a huge save. Fenerbahce SK's Claudio Avalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todd Link in the 55th minute of play. Claudio Avalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Link in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Cody Heller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shippensburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fenerbahce SK the free kick. Shippensburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kurtis Simons was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 79 minutes into the game, Nathanial Sutherland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Dale Hollis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nathanial Sutherland in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dale Hollis saved Shippensburg from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Shippensburg's zone, Romeo Howard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dale Hollis came out of the goal and Romeo Howard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Nathanial Sutherland made a precise shot to the right of Dale Hollis. Shippensburg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nathanial Sutherland in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dale Hollis saved Shippensburg from getting behind. In the 92nd minute Ervin Lowry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dale Hollis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
