México FC's Gerardo Estebano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Henderson in the 10th minute of play. After 12 played minutes México FC got a freekick which was hit by Abe Herndon. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Thomas Henderson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bethlehem's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Henderson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Estebano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armando Shockley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21stth minute of the game Thomas Henderson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but México FC's Gerardo Estebano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in México FC's zone, Thomas Henderson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Estebano came out of the goal and Thomas Henderson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thomas Henderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of México FC booed when Bethlehem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cason Aranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Thomas Henderson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerardo Estebano was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Henderson in the 46th minute of play forced México FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Estebano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Albrecht to make the kick off. With his leg Gerardo Estebano managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Bethlehem's Thomas Henderson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. George Albrecht hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Thomas Henderson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerardo Estebano having to make a save. Darin Villalobos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Albrecht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Tim Dow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Hendersons short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Gerardo Estebano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thomas Henderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gerardo Estebano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Shockley in the 78th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Freddie Langford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
