Simon Pate made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute Werner Blevins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Gee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emmitt Edmonds got free with Tomas Burgess in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the match, Emmitt Edmonds notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Miami Springs's Tomas Burgess. Tomas Burgess was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th minute, Miami Vice's Thurman Kidd dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 15th minute, Stanton Bachman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Miami Springs's Tomas Burgess got control of the ball when Thurman Kidd tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nelson Moody got free with Tomas Burgess in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Thurman Kidd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 26 minutes into the game, when Luis Suggs put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Miami Springs a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Claude Lay, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Miami Vice's Jonathan Gee. 2-1. Tomas Burgess made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Nelson Moody sent off a good shot on target. Miami Springs's Tomas Burgess played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Moody in the 36th minute of play. Tomas Burgess was a little too slow when Emmitt Edmonds got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nelson Moody got free with Tomas Burgess in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emmitt Edmonds in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Burgess prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Good to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Elias Good made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Miami Springs's Tomas Burgess tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Nelson Moody notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Miami Springs's Tomas Burgess. Tomas Burgess was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Burgess made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Moody in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Miami Springs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Werner Blevins to maneuver through the defense. Simon Pate charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Pate the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, Miami Springs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Pate to maneuver through the defense. Nelson Moody scored 6-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Burgess, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Gee made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claude Lay in the 78th minute. Elias Good hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Pate in the 81st minute of play forced Miami Vice's goalkeeper Jonathan Gee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Burgess came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Miami Vice's Nelson Moody. But to his dismay, Nelson Moody quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Tomas Burgess showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Moody, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Werner Blevins hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Elias Good sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Burgess made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Moody in the 93rd minute of play. Miami Vice walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
