When Kareem Sandoval fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fenerbahce SK's protests and gave Kareem Sandoval a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, Fenerbahce SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kareem Sandoval to maneuver through the defense. Fenerbahce SK's Ervin Lowry quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Walton Creech, made in the 37th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Miami Springs's goalkeeper Tomas Burgess had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nathanial Sutherland. Clifford Didlick let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 41st minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Miami Springs's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Nathanial Sutherland scored to the left of an out of position Tomas Burgess, making the score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Pate was the one to do the kick off. Miami Springs's Tomas Burgess played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathanial Sutherland in the 52nd minute of play. Claude Lay charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claude Lay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Fenerbahce SK booed when Miami Springs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claude Lay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domenic Wade hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute of the match Nathanial Sutherland sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomas Burgess skillfully saved the ball. In the 59th minute Nathanial Sutherland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Burgess saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Nathanial Sutherland notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Miami Springs's Tomas Burgess. Tomas Burgess was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ervin Lowry in the 67th minute of play forced Miami Springs's goalkeeper Tomas Burgess to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Nathanial Sutherland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Burgess saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 minutes of play, Fenerbahce SK's Ervin Lowry made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomas Burgess was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute, Claude Lay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nathanial Sutherland in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Burgess prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute, Kurtis Simons made a precise shot to the right of Tomas Burgess. Miami Springs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 92nd minute, Nathanial Sutherland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Burgess was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After 94 minutes, Shawn Baldwin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenerbahce SK and the Miami Springs players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Fenerbahce SK got a freekick which was hit by Shawn Baldwin.
