In the 7th match minute, Buies Creek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Joyner to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Pate in the 10th minute of play forced Buies Creek's goalkeeper Stephen Stringer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Miami Springs got a freekick which was hit by Claude Lay. Lorenzo Joyner took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomas Burgess. Miami Springs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Miami Springs's Tomas Burgess played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wayne Velazquez in the 15th minute of play. Tomas Burgess showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wayne Velazquez in the 17th minute of the match. Vicente Oliver took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomas Burgess. Tomas Burgess dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Miami Springs's goal looked a bit too open when Wayne Velazquez came free, but Tomas Burgess reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Miami Springs's Stephen Stringer threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Simon Pate, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Miami Springs getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Simon Pate hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Miami Springs's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Swan came free, but Tomas Burgess reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Burgess came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Buies Creek's Maurice Swan. But to his dismay, Maurice Swan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Tomas Burgess showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wayne Velazquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Pate in the 45th minute of play forced Buies Creek's goalkeeper Stephen Stringer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Vicente Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Miami Springs's Tomas Burgess proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Miami Springs from getting a goal against them. Tomas Burgess showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Oliver in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Maurice Swan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomas Burgess. Maurice Swan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Tomas Burgess made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Vicente Oliver sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th match minute, Buies Creek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deshawn Prather to maneuver through the defense. Stephen Stringer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Pate, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute of the game Hank Harden made a throw-in which Simon Pate played forward. After 72 played minutes Buies Creek got a freekick which was hit by Maurice Swan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claude Lay in the 75th minute of play forced Buies Creek's goalkeeper Stephen Stringer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Deshawn Prather put in a rough tackle. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Buies Creek! In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Miami Springs. Claude Lay stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stephen Stringer. 1-4. The audience was convinced that Claude Lay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stephen Stringer was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Joyner in the 89th minute of play forced Miami Springs's goalkeeper Tomas Burgess to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorenzo Joyner during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lorenzo Joyner hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the game, Simon Pate cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Stephen Stringer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Miami Springs fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Buies Creek were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
