Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 3rd minute, Abraham Bauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paul Camacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Dent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joesph McClure came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dale Hollis could save by the left post. When Joesph McClure came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Muldrow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joesph McClure couldn't finish the play. If Stanton Valdez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 minutes, Cody Heller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shippensburg and the Muldrow players grew even worse after the yellow card. It was beautiful to see Muldrow's Stanton Valdez in action when he in the 29th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 31st minute Ted Colby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Camacho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Muldrow booed when Shippensburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cody Heller didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Joesph McClure came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Muldrow fans jumped to their feet. The audience thought a goal was coming when Errol Baker got free with Dale Hollis in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brian Dent made a kick off. Dale Hollis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joesph McClure, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Camacho was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Denver Jackson. 59 minutes into the match, Joesph McClure had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dale Hollis. Shippensburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joesph McClure was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Ted Colby got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Joesph McClure fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Hollis having to interfere. Paul Camacho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Dent in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Denver Jackson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joesph McClure in the 80th minute of play forced Shippensburg's goalkeeper Dale Hollis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Stanton Valdez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dale Hollis was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 86th minute Joesph McClure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dale Hollis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul Camacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Dent, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Joesph McClure notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Shippensburg's Dale Hollis. Dale Hollis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 96 minutes into the match, Shippensburg's goal looked a bit too open when Joesph McClure came free, but Dale Hollis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Muldrow players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
